Overview
Within Lighthouse’s suite of granular access and permission controls, License Administrators can define and manage user access at a highly detailed level. This includes setting permissions for specific user groups, and ensuring that only authorised personnel can access particular modules within the platform. Administrators can assign or restrict access based on roles, job functions, or organisational requirements, helping to enforce security policies and maintain compliance. Additionally, these controls allow for dynamic adjustments, enabling License Administrators to modify access as user roles evolve or business needs change.
Permissions
To make changes to a Modules Access Control, you will need to be in the Group that is assigned to the Licence Administrator role.

Navigation
A Module Access Control can be changed either in bulk (multiples) or individually from the Licence Administration Screen. Your Organisation might be taking advantage of Lighthouse customisable Menu but it it’s using the default option then you can navigate here via;

Performing Bulk Access Control
To perform a change on multiple module’s access control, you can select the modules you wish to change by using the checkbox to the left of the module.

If you would like to change ALL Modules, then you can select the All-Selector Checkbox at the top left of the table;

Once you have chosen the modules you would like to change, you then click the Set Access button at the top right of the screen.

The Access Control Panel will pop up for you to set the level of access for the Modules.

The first half of this popup modal is a list of modules that will be affected by this change you are able to update, it’s a good opportunity to double check it’s the outcome you are after.
Access Dropdowns (Granted or Denied) have a (Do Not Update) options which if left will not make any changes to that access level. This is an important function to be aware of if you are wanting to make a change to a level and not the other.
The Access Dropdowns are Group Selectors, similar to most permissions through out Lighthouse so you can select which Group you would like to have that permission. If you aren’t sure who is in that group, you can click on the eye on the right of the group selector to be navigated to the groups members screen.
If you would like to create a new group then you can do this by keeping the Group Selector blank and clicking the eye which will generate a new group for you to configure.
Once you have chosen you Access Levels then you can click Update for them to take effect.
Performing Single Access Control
To change the access level to a single module, you are required to be in the Licence Administrators role as well but you can select the Padlock that is located to the right of the module you’d like to change;

This will generate the Access Level Pop up Modal.

Changing Existing Access Control Levels
If you click the Padlock next to the Module that has existing Levels applied to It, then you can select a different group from the desired group selector that matches the access level to make the change.
If you are using the Bulk Functionality, then this will apply the bulk change to all modules. If some of those modules already have an access level, it may be worth reviewing those prior to the bulk change.
Resetting or Removing Access Levels
If you wish to remove an Access Level then each Group Selector has an option to (Set to None) which can be used to remove any access level for that Module;
